Brown Pietersite sterling silver pendant and earrings.  Pendant measures approximately 1 3/4″ long and 1 1/4″ wide. Shipped with 20-inch sterling silver chain unless another length is requested.  Chains available in 16-inch to 36-inch lengths.

Pietersite is a commercial term for a variety of the mineral chalcedony. Originating from Namibia and China, where it is mined for use as a decorative stone due to its chaotic chatoyancy and brecciated structure. Pietersite is believed to provide various benefits, including enhancing personal willpower, improving intuitive abilities, and promoting emotional healing by bringing repressed feelings to the surface. It is also thought to stimulate the nervous system, aid in physical healing, and balance the body’s chakras.

Ranging in color from brownish-red, to blue-grey, and chatoyant yellow. The Chinese variety are predominantly a reddish-brown, with regions of chatoyant blue and yellow. The Namibian variety are less varied, being predominantly a chatoyant blue-grey, with less common reddish-browns and yellows.
